Samantha Shepard, B.S.
Samantha Shepard, B.S., is a long-term chronic pain patient and chronic pain consultant. Samantha sustained an injury leaving her disabled, in severe pain. During her rehabilitation, she helped organize an interprofessional team of pain experts and pursued regenerative therapies. She attributes her recovery to her team of providers, years of hard work, and the power of positivity. Samantha worked as a chronic pain research and scholarship assistant for Edward Bilsky Ph.D., and has completed two fellowships in chronic pain research. Today, She works as a chronic pain research consultant and contracts to speak publicly about her experience. Samantha works as a phlebotomist, patient research consultant, and hopes to earn her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine or Ph.D.
